M&S Music Intercom

The Model DMC3-4 Music/Communication Retrofit System Master is a full-function intercom and music distribution system designed for retrofit applications in residential use. The master unit can replace older intercom systems that use three-wire or four-wire connections to the room stations. The system supports up to 15 room stations and up to three door speakers. The built in AM/FM radio tuner allows setting eight AM stations presets and eight FM station presets. The backlit liquid crystal display shows the operation mode, audio source, radio frequency, volume setting, and time. With the optional Model DMC1 CD Add on 6 disc CD changer installed, the display shows the disc number selected and the track number currently playing.
Room stations have push buttons that control the system operation. Retrofit room and patio stations connect to the master unit using the installation's existing wiring. All room stations models can select talk or listen to other room stations, door speakers and the master unit. Each has a intercom volume control. The model DMC3RS or DMC4RS room stations can select the audio source, control the radio tuner, and set the master music volume.

The Model DMC1 CD 5 disc add on CD changer is a multi-disc player that connects to the master unit. The CD changer mounts below the master unit and contains a slide in CD magazine that can hold up to 6 compact discs.

Room Station or Patio

When the Talk button is pressed, the person at the room station can talk to all other room stations set to intercom or radio/intercom. When the LISTEN button is pressed the person at the room station can listen to all stations set to intercom or radio/intercom. Pressing both TALK and LISTEN buttons to communicate with the door speaker.

The Front Door Station with Bell Button is a voice communications interface that mounts adjacent to a primary entry door. Pressing the lighted bell button will trigger the optional door bell chime to announce a vistor. Two way voice communications with the resident occurs through the unit's built in speaker.
